We are very sad to have to announce the postponement of this year's event. Due to restrictions imposed by state and local health authorities, there will be no Humboldt Bay Marathon events in August of 2020. We are rescheduling this year's event to August of 2021, and all registrants for 2020 are already registered for 2021.
We hope that each of you will continue getting out to run, walk, bike, swim, hike and whatever you do to keep active and healthy, and we look forward to seeing you next year!

Thank you for your interest in volunteering to help with the 2018 Humboldt Bay Marathon! This form is for students. If you are not a student, please use the Adult Volunteer inquiry form
Students will receive a certificate acknowledging the number of hours they volunteer for this wonderful nonprofit event. Volunteer hours are required by most local high schools for graduation.
We have many different ways that you can help with this fun event. Here is a list of some of the things we need to do!
Before race weekend:
* Help promote the event on social media
* Help with marketing and sponsor solicitation
* Help prepare materials for race weekend
* Help with planning and coordination
Friday and Saturday, August 10th and 11th:
* Deploy parking control signage
* Runner registration and packet pickup
* Prepare materials for traffic control
Sunday August 12th:
* Set up traffic control signs
* Help deploying aid station material
* Start and Finish area setup and assistance
* Course monitoring
* Assist with traffic control
* Pick up traffic control signs
* Clean up finish area
